- Sign-in: keep you signed in securely (for api.vrespetsitter.gr only, and out of reach of scripts).
- Language: remembers whether you chose the Greek or the English site.
- Signed-in markers (vres_acct, vres_in): two small cookies with no personal data. The first tells the site you're signed in, so you can reach your account settings while the platform isn't open to everyone yet. The second says you have early access, so it can show you the whole site. They last up to 30 days.
- Cookie choice: remembers what you chose here, for 12 months.
- Invitation (vres_ref): if you opened a friend's invitation link, it remembers the link's code for 7 days so the invitation can be applied when you finish the sign-up you asked for. It holds no personal data, we share it with nobody, and it is deleted once used or when you remove it on the sign-up form.
Preferences (no consent needed)
- Theme (vres_theme): remembers whether you prefer the dark or the light look, so it is there on your next visit. You set it with the appearance button at the top of the page; it lasts 12 months and holds no personal data.
Statistics and advertising (only with your consent)
If you allow them, we load tools that help us understand how the site is used and how our ads perform. None of them loads before you consent. The table below shows which ones are active right now.
How to change your choice
